Adding a New Item to The Shop

I am excited to add a new item to the shop this weekend.  It’s probably the thing I get asked the most about when someone comes over to our house.

Where did you get that canvas?

Truth be told, though I have figured out how to make these on my own,  none of the lettering designs are my original ideas.  I typically find prints that I love and use them as inspiration to make my own.

We have one canvas for the wall above our fireplace.  It stays there most of the year.

At Christmastime, I swap it out for this one with a verse from one of my favorite Christmas songs.

I also have this canvas upstairs in the boys’ room.

And I made this for a good friend’s teenage daughter. This one is made on plywood with a painted frame (per her request).

We use this chalkboard daily in our family room.  We change the calendar out every month and still have room to add fun things like a winter fun list, favorite family bible verse, quotes, etc.

The nice thing about all of these is that they can be made to an exact size.

Do you need a print to cover the TV opening above your fireplace?  Do you want a big canvas to to hang over your bed?   Something cute for your kid’s playroom?  A large canvas with your family’s favorite bible verse/saying/phrase/quote?  These are now available in The Shop!

  1. Wood framed canvas:  Frame is built and canvas is stretched and stapled onto the frame. Canvas is primed and painted and ready for custom hand-lettering.  This option is more expensive, as it’s much more time consuming and requires more materials.
  2. Wood framed plywood:  Frame is built and attached to plywood.   Then plywood is  primed and painted and ready for custom hand-lettering.
  3. Framed chalkboard:  Available with lettering, or blank chalkboard.

General pricing details are available in The Shop.

Contact me if you are interesting in ordering or if you have any questions.
