Sometimes moving some furniture around can completely change the look and feel of a room. And that’s exactly what we did with this friend’s family room!

After playing around with the couch layout a bit, we finally found one that worked. Next, we added an upholstered ottoman with storage and purchased a new TV entertainment center that fits the space on the wall much better.  We also purchased a table and two chairs for a little sitting area on the side of the family room.  Last, we took down the dark curtains that were there and replaced them with curtains that match the breakfast area (which I also helped with in this home!).

This client would like to purchase a new rug for the room soon, but the budget did not allow for that just yet.

I love the way the room turned out.  So open, so much light, and so inviting!
