Below are some pictures of the process of building some built in shelves in my baby girl’s room. (Final post on the room coming tomorrow!)
QUICK SIDENOTE: If you don’t know how to build shelves or don’t have access to the proper tools, there are MANY options for putting together units that are pre made! If you have a space where you would like something like this, but can’t figure out what to buy or what will work, I can help you do that. Contact me today! I recently did this for a friend in her playroom. Here are a few ideas we came up with for her!
Cube storage
- You can create this with two of these (from Walmart!) standing upright and one of these on its side. Baskets that fit are easy to find, and the Better Homes & Gardens brand is a pretty decent quality.
- For something more simple, you could purchase two of these.
Bookcase
- This is a little bit more money, but I LOVE the look of this bookcase from hayneedle.
Ok, here are a bunch of pics of the process and progress! Planning. Priming. Painting. Adding trim and baseboards. Caulking. And painting again! Phew!
